With the fast nature of the 21st century, many people respond to the rising demands of work by putting in longer hours. With time, this puts a toll on people emotionally, mentally and physically. In turn, it leads to high turnover rates, increased levels of distraction and declining levels of engagement. The main problem with working longer hours is that time is a finite resource. On the other hand, energy is a whole different matter which in physics is defined as the ability to work. Energy is derived from four main off-springs in human beings which include spirit, mind, emotions and physical. In all the above, energy can be expanded systematically and renewed through intentionally practiced behaviors.
There are several ways that can help one better manage their energy. One can start by establishing an earlier bedtime as well as giving up drinking. This makes one feel more rested every morning as well as more motivated to work out and exercise. A healthy breakfast every morning is also a great idea and so are regular afternoon walks. These are just a few rituals that help renew and manage your energy for physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well being. Want to try something different?
